The W Fashion Week 2025
When we think of Fashion Weeks, we often only think of the luxury, in demand mega brands, whilst less established brands are generally forgotten, and not given a platform.
Taking place in February, The W Fashion Week creates global exposure and raises the profile of upcoming designers who are the next leaders and creatives in the fashion industry.
Although London is a cosmopolitan city, its fashion scene is one-dimensional. The W Fashion Week is a call for action, working in partnership with fashion industry professionals, retailers, community organisations and corporations, whilst also granting full access into the closed doors of the industry to fashion lovers who are not regarded outside of established buyers, media personnel or influencers.
London is a major player in the fashion industry and has rightfully earned its place as one of the most important iconic fashion capitals in the world. The W Fashion Week allows national and international brands to break into the market, garner a community and build brand recognition.
The W Fashion Week aims to support the globe’s most talented creatives, entrepreneurs and designers, particularly focusing on burgeoning brands from underrepresented and underprivileged backgrounds.
A shortlist of burgeoning fashion designers, founders and creatives will be given the opportunity to present their collections at The W Fashion Week runway show, showcasing to buyers, press and the general public.
The 20 brands selected to showcase at The W Fashion Week receive:
An invite to showcase their brand’s latest collection in front of 300+ guests which include tastemakers, buyers, journalists and investors within the fashion industry at a 5* location in London, with a 3-minute runway slot complete with 8-20 models, a team of hair stylists and makeup artists allocated to your models on show day and a full runway front-of-house and backstage team.
A place on a fashion mentorship programme.
A double-page spread in The W’s Big Fashion Issue in print, which will be gifted to each guest at the runway show in September 2024.
High-res images of their full collection on the runway, as well as behind-the-scenes imagery and video content.
Direct connections to retailers, wholesalers and investors.

What You Need To Know:
Applicants must be available to attend The W Fashion Week 2025 runway show in London on the 15th of September 2024.
The 20 shortlisted fashion designers, founders and creatives will be given the opportunity to showcase their collection to 300+ guests which include tastemakers, buyers, journalists and investors within the fashion industry at a 5* location in London, with a 3-minute runway slot complete with 8-20 models, a team of hair stylists and makeup artists allocated to your models on show day and a full runway front-of-house and backstage team.
Travel and accommodation will need to be covered by the applicant.
All information submitted by each brand will be strictly confidential and solely for the purposes of selecting 20 final brands to showcase at the runway show in September 2024.
Who Can Enter:
Founders, creative directors, CEOs and/or designers.
Brands that are at least 6 months old.
Brands that fall under: womenswear, menswear, swimwear, accessories (including handbags), jewellery and footwear. If other, please specify in application.
Brands that will have at least 8 looks in their collection to showcase at The W Fashion Week 2024 in September.
Applicants must be 18 years old by August 31st 2024.
Applicants from any and all countries.
What We Are Looking For:
Brand Identity & Story: Stories are important, so each brand will be evaluated on the clarity of their brand story, ethos and narrative.
Originality: Each brand will be evaluated on its creativity, originality, and innovation.
Market Potential & Appeal: Each brand must be able to disclose its market positioning, pricing strategy, consumer demographics, and competitors.
Community Engagement & Impact: We will strongly consider brands who are able to demonstrate engagement with the community, industry and/or social causes. We will still consider brands who are not yet able to demonstrate this if they are a startup/SME.
Collaboration & Growth: Each brand must demonstrate its potential for collaboration and future growth opportunities.
Long-Term Vision: Each brand will be evaluated on its long-term vision, sustainability and resilience in the face of challenges.
